STACKED DUAL ACTING CERAMIC THRUST BEARING ASSEMBLIES
- Multi-stack, Self-aligning, load equalizing thrust bearing with optional radial bearings
- Reacts both up-thrust and down-thrust loads
- High temperature capability
- Operate in oil, process fluid or contaminated lubricants.
- By providing unsurpassed self alignment and load equalization, the stacked ceramic bearing can provide extremely high thrust capability in even mud lubricated/abrasive systems
- A 7-3/4 mud motor thrust stack readily supports 200,000 pounds of thrust with no wear in mud lubrication. Additional capacity is readily provided by simply adding thrust elements
- If used in an oil lubricated system, the bearings continue to run in the process fluid after seals fail
- Can react virtually any verticle load in diametrically limited spaces.
- Also available in ceramic, polymer, steel, and bronze bearing materials.
