Six in-house molding machines are used to mold your component. These molding machines are of conventional design.

Feedstock is gravity fed into the barrel of the machine where it is heated until it can flow freely. The material is then injected into the mold cavity through the sprues, runners and gates built into each tool.

When the material cools sufficiently to hold its shape, the mold opens along the parting line and ejector pins push the component out. The machine then closes and the molding step is repeated.

Tools designed with multiple cavities can reduce the molding cost.
