De-binding removes a portion of the thermoplastic binder from the component to facilitate sintering. This is accomplished in a controlled solvent system.

The de-binding step opens up microscopic passages within the component to assist the high temperature sintering process.

We have proprietary in-house de-binding units to remove the binder quickly, and without compromising the integrity of your parts.

After de-binding, the optimum amount of binder remains to allow the component to maintain its shape during sintering.
