Ceradyne’s Ceralloy® 147-31N grade of gas pressure sintered silicon nitride has a pore free microstructure with high strength, fracture toughness and contact fatigue resistance. This silicon nitride grade meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM Standard Specification F2094-01a for silicon nitride hybrid bearing balls.
